New SD Card help
So I just got a new sd card to replace the buggy one I had from my old Droid. Now it's telling me that it can't detect it. Is it cause it's not formatted? If I format do I lose my applications? I have a little SD icon in top bar and not sure what that means. HELP please. Other than my apps, which I don't know how to back up, i'm ok with pics and music. Thanks for any and all help and suggestions!!!

So you still ahve all the original files on the older SD card, correct? They won't be lost.
And the new card hasn't done anything with the phone yet, correct?
Format the new card in the phone.
Take it out and then copy all the data from the old card to the new card with an SD reader on a computer.
Then insert the new, formated, and updated card in the phone.

thanks, i formated it and my phone still refuses to reconize it. i don't know what the problem is. when put in computer alone it's reconized, when pluged via phone it shows up as F drive. But I can't get any music to save on it. Any thoughts? I'm using iSyncr, which specifically asks where you want your music stored. I'd really like not to bog down my phone's memory.

You formatted it in the phone and the phone still refuses to recognize it?

From what I've read, the phone can read sdhc. (At the time of my post, I didn't know that
)
