I want to set my ringtones for text messages but they won't show up in my notification sound listing.. how do I change this.

Download Astro File Manager (to view files on phone via phone) or connect to computer.

create a folder on your sdcard called notifications and drag an drop your sounds into there.

Sound files have to correspond to how they are in the system. In the system there is a alarms, notifications, ringtones, and ui folder. Just match ur sd folder to that and it will work smoothly.
