Adding PDF Attachments to Outgoing Emails

I have a number of PDF files which are responses to often repeated questions from clients. I'm trying to figure out how to attach one of those PDF files to an outgoing email. I've tried Gmail, the standard mail app and K9, and they only see pictures and videos to attach. I tried copying the PDF files to the folders where those reside, still no luck. Does anyone know a way to convince any of the email apps to attach a PDF file? Thanks.

In the standard mail app when you add an attachment there should be an option for documents then it should bring up a choice for pdf.

Also if they still don't show up you should be able to long press the file and choose send as then choose whichever mail app you please.

I was sure I'd tried all three apps, but you are right, the standard app has the option to choose documents and will find PDF's. Now to get that feature in K9. Thanks for the quick reply!

another way to do it is to send it from the file manager.
