if it keeps happening then definitely get it exchanged. if it never happens again i wouldn't worry about it.

mine has done it twice in the month i've had it. i'm not overly concerned.

Didn't know if the system has sent something out like they did with my MDroid and didn't tell me. Not worried enough to take it back just wanted to toss it out there

gotcha. if it becomes a daily or even a weekly thing, then i'd worry about it.

What apps were you running. The android market is not exactly the most governed market. An app could have caused it. If it happens again uninstall the last app, reboot system.

I'm not running anything not preinstalled, didn't let them install anyhing...lol. I'm coming from a Moto so I wanted a clean slate and it's still a virgin (so to speak). The text froze on me yesterday so I turned it off and took the battery out for a bit and then all was good in candy land. I'll try it again if it happens but have to walk my friend thru my taking over my Moto....lol

just for giggles do a factory reset. If it does not fix atleast you can let the vzw rep know you already done that step "get me a new phone".
