Getting Annoyed

Hi, I know I'm new to the forum but I could use some help.
I have had my Incredible (the first version) since December of last year. Recently after the update in June/July I have had nothing but problems. First the 2am rebooting constantly for a week, Factory reset fully (including the internal memory) after it supposedly Partitioned itself. Now it decides that it wants to uninstall the updates and puts it back to where the factory reset does. Another issue I have encountered has been its freezing and when i try to put it into sleep mode it wont come out of it until I pull the battery out and restart it that way. I take really good care of my phone, I have only accidentally dropped it 2 times in its whole life. It has no water damage on anything and I keep it in a case.

If there is any advice please let me know. I really would like to get it back to where it was before the issues. I love this phone.

I've had the update since June and it started doing the freeze thing a couple of weeks ago. I'm at a loss on it as well and since this forum is very slow now haven't found an answer here or anywhere else either. At first I thought it was the Astro app because it started right at the time it got an update, didn't do it for a while after I uninstalled it but did it again this past weekend when the market started updating apps while it was asleep.
If I find something I'll post back.
