Reboot loop, can't recover, can't factory reset
So my phone got stuck in some kind of reboot loop today, I run cm7.1, not sure if that matters but it is rooted is my point.
I did the powerbutton down volume to enter Hboot, and selected recovery, when I select it, it reboots the phone starting a reboot loop again, so I can't try wiping the cache or the dalvik cache, It does the same thing when I tried factory reset, the only option that I know that works is fast boot options which don't help, and then clear storage but I already tried that as well and it also enters the reboot loop.
anyone know what I need to do? I rooted it a while ago but I'm guessing I need to get the usb driver for Hboot and fix something in the phone itself???

Re: Reboot loop, can't recover, can't factory reset
Did you place a file on your SD card named PG05IMG.zip? If you didn't remove the file after install, maybe it's interfering with the boot sequence? I came across a thread somewhere stating that the zip file should be removed after installation. You could just remove the SD card, then try rebooting. If the problem goes away, then something on your SD is messing up the power up sequence.

If you can give me the specific file I need then I can rename it to pg05img.zip but the file I used needed to be renamed to something else, can't quite remember

Sorry, what I was trying to say is that if that file is on the root directory already, try removing it, then rebooting. It's probably easiest just to remove the SD from the phpne, then reboot. If the phone works, then something on the SD is messing it up.
