HTC Incredible - Boot Loop
I'm new to this forum so I don't know if this question has been asked a dozens of time but a few days ago my original HTC Incredible's screen broke so I received a replacement phone for that one from Asurion. The replacement phone had problems with it, it would only go to the "HTC Incredible" white screen and only boot to that one, I did a Factory Reset and fixed that problem. The next problem was that it would pass the "HTC Incredible" white screen into the "HTC Quietly Brilliant" screen into the Droid GIF into the Unlock Screen and then reset.
The only thing I can do to fix that is to change batteries and it would go to the home screen. I've tried to Factory Reset and I've also called Asurion to help troubleshoot the problem, they had me take out the battery, hold down the power button for 20 seconds, and turn on the phone which didn't help and the phone continues to randomly reboot. Can anyone help with this problem?
The phone is currently running on Android Version 2.3.4.

HTC Incredible rebooting since software update.
A couple of days ago my HTC Incredible downloaded a software update. It is now on 2.3.4, I do not know what it was on before the update.
Since the update the phone has been going into a type of reboot loop where a couple of minutes after the phone screen goes dark it will reboot. It does not reboot again until either it reaches the display timeout and goes dark, or I manually turn off the display.
After the reboot I can use the phone normally with no problem. Once I stop using it the phone reboots after about 2 minutes.
This reboot loop only happens at night. It happens when the phone is plugged into the charger and when it is not.
I have not been able to determine a time period for when it begins and ends. I just know it starts when I plug it in at night and by the time I get up it is no longer rebooting. I have plugged it in at different times each night and the problem does not start until then, but if I unplug the phone it still continues to happen.
This does not happen when I plug in my phone during the day. Throughout the day I had my phone plugged in and on my desk and I did not see it reboot once.
I have had this phone for 18 months and this is the first time I have seen this issue. Is there anyway of rolling back the software or fixing this? I have restarted the phone manually and have removed and replaced the battery but the issue has not been resolved.
PLEASE HELP!! I like having my phone ringer on in case a call comes in at night but I can't right now because of the boot up sound.

I am having the exact same problem, except mine would not stop until I either took the battery out (and sometimes that wouldnt even stop it), or I booted into safe mode, then restarted the phone that way. I am debating on taking it to the Verizon store, but, somehow, that doesnt seems like it would do me much good. I have had this phone for a few months (got it refurbished), and just started having this problem a week or so ago.

I ended up taking it to the Verizon store, and of course it was a waste of my time. They recommended downloading Advanced App Killer and using it after you first put it on the charger when you go to bed. Of course, that didn't help matters, I still heard that damn reboot loop all night. The only other suggestion was to change the battery, which probably wont work either. They then said that if that doesn't work, than I have a bad phone that I need to get replaced..
....I just bought this phone 6 months ago. How could it already be bad?
