Dropped in the TOILET!!

Hello...
I'm new here as you can tell by my profile... but I have a question that I think I already know the answer to but I want to give it one more try..

My wife dropped her HTC Inc in the toilet bowl at work. She did not do what she was suppose to do and take out the battery and just let it dry. She DID try to turn it back on... the screen flashed white and then nothing.

Can I assume it's fried w/no way to get the pictures back? We just had a baby couple months ago and she has pics that I don't have.
I tried the rice thing over night and days later, still no response. There's no way back in, is there??

Were the pics on the internal memory or a microSD card? If the internal memory, then you probably are done. If the micro card was in there, you have a fighting chance.

Yeah... I only changed to the SD Card a week ago... everything else was on the phone. I was planning to move everything to the SD Card then this happened...

Oh well... s**t happens I guess... we just have to take more pics!!! lol

Just let it dry out awhile more, like a few days, then try doing a USB connection to the computer. You MIGHT be able to get them off, but I am not sure.

I tried that today and not even a flicker...
it's been several days already and I have to send back to that Asurion place so unfortunately, no go
