Change primary account

I haven't seen this one answered yet so sorry if it has been. When my Incredible was setup I had my work gmail account added to it. I would like to switch this to my own personal account I setup. Login name is my pop email account. I added it to the list but I can't get the calendar to sync to it. It will only do contacts. I found one spot that said my first account had to be deleted which would take all my info off of phone. Is there any easier way to get my google calendar to sync with my personal account instead of the one that was originally setup on it? Thanks in advance
