OTA Upgrade Question
Forum,
I just got notified that my phone has downloaded the 87something MB OTA update for 2.3.4 and I was wondering if this was something smart to do. I have been reading horror stories of what the update does to the inc, and frankly, am hesitant to update. I know they started rolling out the OTA months ago, then halted it due to major bugs. Have they been worked out? I can't afford to brick my phone and be without it.
Thanks!

@Stuff350...my guess is that it will tank all of that stuff if you're non stock rom. I just need to know if this OTA release is stable enough to actually upgrade to

I have a stock un rooted phone.
Stupid me hit the update button and now most of my apps that i stored stuff on (simple lists and other items like colornote) are GONE! Many of my other apps do not even show up on the phone! I have had no issues txt or calling but the phone is WAY F'D UP!

So now the notification has disappeared and when I check the menu it says my system up to date, but its still 2.2...Hrm
