Settings for Europe?

I am headed to Europe in about a week. I want to be able to use my phone on wifi at the hotel but NOT have any roaming charges.

Can anyone makes suggestions how I should change my settings?

You might want to call verizon and ask them. They would be the best people to tell you if you would be getting charged or not. I took a trip out of the country with my blackberry and they advised me to keep it off the whole time unless i wanted high data charges, so just call them and ask about the wifi thing.
