Notification Reminders

    Question Notification Reminders

    I basically want the phone to beep or make a sound every few minutes if I had missed a call or received an unread text message.

    Anyway to set this up with a notification sound/alert?

    Check Handcent or Gmail Notifier. I know GMail Notifier has several different reminder options. Pretty sure one was like you talked about above.

    So there is no setting on the Incredible that will enable this feature? The only way to get the alerts is thru apps?

    You can try an free app called missed reminders, I believe it does what your looking for, but i have not used it myself.

    ^^ Missed Reminder Users:
    According to the description, it looks like this app is EXACTLY what Im looking for.
    Im not worried about the LED blinking because the user has the option to trigger the screen to go on/off for a specific number of seconds.
    Also allows for a "toast popup."
    Its VERY customizable. Its a good reminder for the following:
    • Missed SMS
    • Missed MMS
    • Missed Calls
    • Missed Gmail
    I'll follow up with comments as I use this...


    Quick question:
    Whats the difference between MMS and SMS? I assume text message versus picture message?
