Anyone? Just trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if its an issues with the YouTube mobile site itself.

ok heres the full situation. the youtube app works as far as searching goes but it wont play video. which has to do with the htc player. the player hasnt worked since about a month after i rooted and i never bothered to fix it because i didnt use it. the only thing it affected was the youtube app and the camcorder which i dont use. when i type youtube into my browser it auto sends me to the mobile site which is fine as ive been using it since i got the phone last year with no problems. is i switch to desktop view i cant load any videos flash error, but the search works fine. on the mobile site if i type something into the search and hit the search button it does nothing at all, if i hit enter it searches but finds nothing, doesnt matter what i search always comes back with no videos were found. i tried clearing all the data like cookies, even reset to default, still not working. tried a different browser still doesnt work. im stumped on this one, and im really trying to avoid having to do a factory reset just to fix this. if anyone has any ideas please let me know and thank you in advance.

also if i search a youtube video through google it loads just fine.. and i can access the videos in the sidebar on youtube once im there with no problems so it seems its just the search funstion on youtube itself.. so im really confused lol.

nope stock kernel stock rom. i have flashed roms in the past but atm im running the stock rom. ive never flashed a kernel.. guess i havent been brave enough and i havent really had the time to research them so i didnt want to flash the wrong one with the wrong rom i know nothing about kernels and stuff like that so figured it best to not mess with it until i have time to research or get advice from here.

Did it ever work correctly? Maybe try installing adobe flash from market. Also in the browser go to menu, more, settings then at the bottom select reset to default.
the only other thing I would suggest is to do a factory reset or a nandroid backup. If you have titanium backup it shouldn't be as much of a chore.
yes it worked correctly until friday. i cant find adobe flash in my market, and i did reset it to default.. thing is i didnt do anything with my phone on friday it was working in the morning and then at about noon stopped working and i didnt install anything new or change anything. like i said the videos on youtube mobile work if i access them through google.. its the actual search function that doesnt work on youtube mobile.. like if i type say "cooking" into the search bar in youtube and click the search button it just goes back to the home page, but if i hit enter it searches but says no videos available at this time.. so its like the search is broken
