Bricked?
I'm fairly certain I bricked my phone but I'm not sure. Last night I rooted my phone and i forgot to back up before trying to install cyanogen...no big problem i thought but then cyanogen didn't have any of the essential apps needed to make the phone function like the market or gmail and the apk's i got offline wouldn't work so when i attempted to put it back to stock with the P(whatever it is).zip file and I guess it bricked the phone completely because it won't even turn on into recovery....the led will turn on to charge and it will vibrate once when i try to turn it on but no response from the LCD screen at all.... please help

This happened to me. Holding the volume rocker up and pressing power only caused the phone to vibrate 3or4 times.
What I think I did to get recovery to come up was take out the battery, put it back, plug in the power cord and keep trying the up/power to boot.
It took 2 or 3 times doing that bit mine finally came back up..
After that, I always used the reboot option in the roms reboot menu to get into recovery.
Let me know if that helps

Gapps is a separate flash that you would need to flash on after the ROM. There should also be a link to download it with CM. Do the battery pull as punkboyinsf said and then flash on Gapps once your phone boots up.
