    Thanks, tweebee.
Do you know what to back up that has your wallpaper and the icon layout on your home screen?

I don't. It could be [WALLPAPER/SETTINGS] Settings 1.0. But I have not personally tried backing that up since I am running Launcher Pro. If you want to give it a try and then let me know, I could update this tutorial to include it.

    I'll give it a go.

Meanwhile, did you pursue my tip to create a Titanium.zip file on your sdcard?

I created the zip, though have not used it yet since I have not flashed any ROMs lately. I will use it when Lou releases Redemption 2.4.

You could also do this with all of your apps. Just backup all of your apps with titanium, plug your phone into the computer, transfer all of the apk files from the backup folder into the update.zip that you created, and flash it. When it rebooted, you will have all of your apps. They will not have the data though.

Edit* Sorry, I thought that this was Joe's thread about Titanium Backup. Oops.

You would need to do that in the launcher's settings. You use Launcher Pro, correct? I do not know if LP has the option to do that. I want to say that it can backup where the app icons are, but I am pretty sure that it can not backup widget placement.

ADW Launcher can do both. I have not used it yet, but I will try it soon.

Taco, for Launcher Pro, restoring it from TB will restore the app and its settings, all except the widgets.

Oh, I did not know that TB would backup the desktop setup. I will have to try that. I usually just use the built-in backup/restore feature in ADW settings.

Hey Twee, how do I backup and or restore my contacts after flashing a new ROM, It seems that any new contacts that are added in between ROMs get dropped... it's a PITA
