Factory Reset Rooted Question

I rooted my DINC last week but I'm having issues synching with OUTLOOK. HTC Sync has made a real mess of my OUTLOOK PST.

Anyway.....my question is this

If I do a "factory reset" on the phone.....does this wipe out the fact that I rooted the phone? Would I have to root again after the reset or would the reset even work?

Probably a dumb question but I'm kind of newbie.....Thx!

Are you trying to sync your contacts? If that is the case, the best way that I have found for me us to make a vcard and import it into your dinc

I use this phone for business and it is critical that my DINC contacts are synched with outlook. HTC SYNC has some real problems. It duplicates calendar entries and contacts on outlook and makes a real mess of it. Anyway.......I don't want to create a vcard every day for the updates I've done.

What ROM are you running, stock or something else?

Factory reset will clear your phone data and all your settings. But you will not lose root. You'll have go through configuring your phone again.
