Firmware too new???

Alright, well we were trying to root my dads DINC tonight, and when we were running revoked, it said that the root had failed, and asked him if his firmware was too new? anyone have this happen to them? and if so, howd you get around it???

Some people have run into this. One thing to try is switching the phone to disk drive instead of charge only (and vice versa). If that doesn't work there are other things to try.

i ran into this problem just a few hours ago myself. make sure you have the most recent reflash pack, possibly reinstall and try again.
i had this happen to me and was like wtf????? but i just reinstalled the reflash, plugged phone back in and let it run it's course and BAM! "Done!"

so yea, just try repeating and it should work. did for me.
