    Miui messaging app

    The one thing I really liked about miui was the messaging app. I had to swap back to redemptive bc miui wasn't really stable on my phone. Anyone know if it's possible to run just the messaging app from miui?

    I have not seen anything for this option. I also like this messaging app, but I am still running this rom (12.24) with Launcher pro

    Yeah I was running that version.it only happened when it was plugged up
    I'm going ty backup and try it again. I've seen a post or two about setcpu nit playing well with miui

    Good luck with it. I am also running setcpu so it may be something else or a certain setcpu setup

    dunno i didnt have any profiles set at the time. could be another app. who knows lol. Might just be that my phone doesnt take well to it.

    JJ, unfortunately MIUI is pretty locked down as far as the stuff that is integrated into it. I know a lot of people want the lock screen to port onto different ROMs and it's not been possible.

    Also, I've had a LOT less random reboots since pushing to 12.31. But I've also been writing on top of older versions of (been too lazy to wipe and reinstalled everything ) So I'd recommend relooking at MIUI. It's really coming around with some of the new changes. Also whenever Meizu M9 gets ported to HDPI devices, that would be another good ROM to look at.

    I also really like the messaging app from MIUI. I am running CM7 atm and the messaging app is awful so I decided to try GoSMS and it is great. It gives you the option for a pop up like MIUI and has built in themes, go download it from the market.
