How to get back to complete stock from s-off

Just a little update I think the OP needs.

This:

First step is to get s-on. Download this file and flash through clockwork recovery.(Note s-on does not work on radio 2.15.00.09.01. If you have radio 2.15.00.09.01 please flash this http://dougpiston.com/files/Radios/P...5.00.07.28.zip through Hboot first.)

Should be changed to:

Does this method work for the OLED version of the incredible? I have the OLED version and I do not want to mess up my phone by using a method for the SLCD version. The reason I am doing this is because have the boothang problem with the cyanogen mod, so I can't boot up, also clockwork mod revovery will not work either, it just gets stuck at the clockwork mod logo. So this is basically the only hope for my phone, can I put the file on my SD card with a card reader? Because I can not set it to disk drive mode? Because it will not boot up.

Cant be installed through recovery... Needs to be fat32 and flashed through Hboot.

Going through this process today as an exercise. Here's a more detailed narrative of what happens - or at least what happened as I did it - for those like me who hate it when something appears on screen that wasn't in the instructions and wonder if we did something wrong or whatever.

* I downloaded unrevoked-forever-s-on.zip from Doug's link and placed it on the root of my SD card. Flashed with ROM Manager (ROM Manager->Install ROM from SD Card, no backup, no wipe, yadda, yadda).

Parsing...[SD ZIP]
[1] RADIO_V2 - OK
[2] BOOT - Updating

...

Worked great! One question....anyone know how I can remove recovery from the bootloader? Takes me to a screen with a red exclamation mark in a triangle when I try to access it. I just want the phone to look completely stock. At this point I have completed the s-on and the PB31IMG flash. Thanks!

That is the stock recovery. It was like that right out of the box.

I did everything Raz said he did but when flashing the S-on through ROM manager it says:

installing update...

unrEVOked forever S-ON patch v1.1


Verifying system type...
E:unsupported system
E:update failed. check /sdcard/soff.log.
E:error in /sdcard/unrevoked-forever-son.zip
(status 42)
installation aborted

is it possible that i some how screwed something up when i rooted it? ive tried many different forums and many different methods but nothing seems to work. any specialized help from you guys would be amazing
