New Recovery
Any one used an Amon_RA recovery before?
It is now available in ROM manager under the 'Flash Alternate Recovery' section. Try it out. I have heard some good things about it
NOTE* Once you flash it, ROM manager will become useless until you flash ClockworkMod Recovery again.

I use it on my wife's Eris. Reminds me of Sprecovery for way back.

used it for about a month-
It is very very nice for a lot of things. It is very good at partitioning SD cards, and handling some more technical stuff than Clockwork is. But for some reason occasionally ROM's would install (liek ShadowRom), but I would notice some issues with it, whereas if I installed with ClockworkRecovery, Flashing seemed to go a bit smoother.
Just my 2 cents, its definitely worth a shot. I never use Rom Manager anyways since I like to check the MD5 of my downloaded files, so it was very nice!

Just curious Doug, what rom have you found to be best the Eris? I've got nonsensikal on my husbands Eris right now, just wondering if that was the best. Seems to be working well for him, but always looking for better.
