will this work or do i need skyraider?

I did it with no problems. Just downloaded and install. No issues that I can tell. I have been using it since I got the OTA and rooted.
I just noticed FrankenROM has this. Cool. For those rooting, if you get a chance, seriously, check out some of the ROM's. It gives new life to the phone.

That's weird. When I had the battery Rom this didn't work. Stock FR it does

Not to jack your thread, but I am rooted on SR3.2 and whenever I download the wake patch, it will stop working soon after, and then i have to redownload over and over

It worked for me. I sometimes had to hit it twice for it to work, but it worked.
My problem was I am so used to not having this option that I found myself hitting the power button just by instinct forgetting that I can now use the joystick.
I guess it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
