Unknown Device in Device Manager
Hello Incredible Forums.
When connecting my Droid Incredible to my Windows 7 machine I get an Unknown Device with the yellow exclamation mark sign in Device Manager. The reason for this is because recently I did a repair install to my Windows 7 OS which reset some of my hardware device drivers.
Before when I use to connect my phone it would be automatically detected and then mount the disks when choosing "Mount as disk drive" for the connection type. I then rooted and updated the phone with the unrEVOked modified USB driver following the tutorial and everything went fine and I was able to root my phone.
But now since this repair install I'm not sure how to get the phone to be recognized by the computer again. Do I need to update the driver again with the unrEVOked modified USB driver? Or should I use some other drivers? I don't want to mess up my phone by installing the wrong drivers.
Also when connecting to USB during the HBOOT menu I'm not getting the phone to display the HBOOT USB PLUG like it is supposed to.
What can I do to get it to connect again like it use to? Thanks for the help.

Wow really? 444 views and no replies? I thought this forum was more active than this. Guess it's dying down now since there are a lot "better" phones than the Incredible out right now. It's sad people can't hold on to something long enough and always want to upgrade things

Sorry it took so long for a reply obidon. I would just use the unrEVOked modified USB driver again, you shouldn't have any issues with it.
