Verizon Incredible stock

So my Incredible took a swim with me on Monday and fried. Fortunately I have insurance and can get it replaced for $50, but Verizon doesn't sell the original Incredible anymore and they aren't selling anymore refurbs. Are they completely out of stock? If I have them replace it, what's the chance's of them having another original or just upgrading me to the Inc. 2?

They have been replacing original incs with both the droid x and the inc 2. I have been hearing more and more that they will replace it with the inc 2. You might want to bring it up on the phone during an insurance claim.

My wife did online while I was work today. But if they are replacing them w/ Inc. 2 I will probably be calling them shortly.

How long ago was that, and did they tell you they were sending you the Inc. 2? I called last night and they said they were sending me the original.

I've heard people say they get the dinc 1, dinc 2 or Droid x... The Rep might tell you but when I called for information they told me it is depending on the availability.

The rep told me it showed that she had phones in stock, but I'm just curious if she could see which ones she had in stock. How long ago did you file the claim? And I wonder how fast they go through the stock? I'm probably just trying too hard to get an upgrade but I would hate to get a replacement that they about to stop supporting.

I got the X, effers, Tried several times to get the INC2, but told repeatedly that all they had was X's or Droid2's. I took the X as the D2 is a POS... Hopefully they give you a INC2, I'd like to know how many are getting the 2's, so I can rat out ASSurion...
