    Hopefully Verizon testing would have caught major issues like that.

    I had to do it with a bunch of them with the November add bloatware, limit my emails to 5MB outgoing update. I don't remember why they did it, just my phone was wonky for a while as I found which apps were acting up

    No need to uninstall your apps. If something dose not work after you get GB OTA just disable it till there is a update and try it again. If it dose not work then contact the DEV about it.

    I have been getting Gingerbread updates on many of my apps for months.
    Is that what you mean?
    The day I got my Inc it updated to froyo while they were activating it so the 1 Verizon update is my only personal history and my brothers Droid1 ended up needing a master reset when he went from eclair to froyo.
