Just keep in mind, that the software updates are actually pushed to the phones from the manufacturers of the phones, and not the carriers themselves. The carriers simply provide the network for the devices to connect to. The manufacturers develop different versions of the software for that's unique for each carrier's network. I'm curious, however as to testing whether or not the software ota will actually fail on my wife's rooted incredible. What I've been hearing is that the ota will either brick the phone, or unroot it, and make it where it can't be rooted. Hmm.....what to do, what to do....has anyone here actually done the ota?
I have the incredible and it just tries to continue the update. Will not install or reboot it just hangs.
