Dincs 4G settings

Why is it that Verizon does'nt know that the Incredible has 4G settings.I've spoke to a few Verizon emloyees and none of them were aware that they're already there. HTC must of known 4G was right around the corner.You won't find them in the actual settings,but they are accessed through gesture search.Open gesture search and draw a 4.At the top of the list you will see 4G settings.

That setting is only for EVO and epic users on sprint.

Its on my Verizon Incredible I think they will work if only activated.Just as you can turn 3G off & on .

The radio in the Incredible is not capable of 4G. There may be something that says it, but it won't work.

It is because the app is built the same for all devices. They just did not bother to take out that 4g setting.

The Incredible and Evo are built on VERY similar framework, so some software is shared. You can see the data files for it in the /etc/wimax folder. Yes, Wimax, what Sprint uses (and not Verizon). You need a physical radio in the phone for WiMax or LTE to work, and the Incredible has neither. So, no 4G, just leftover settings from another phone built on the same platform.
