SLCD Issues
I just got my droid incredible about 2 weeks back, and occasionally I get some issues with my slcd screen... Very rarely, my screen will end up flipping colors, white goes to black, red goes to blue making the screen pretty much unreadable.... and it goes away after I pull the battery.
Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know if I can bring this into a verizon store to get it replaced under warranty?
Also, i got like 3 stuck/dead pixels on the slcd... bleh... I wonder if the AMOLEDs were nicer than the new SLCD screens.

wild..... never heard of that issue.... How often does it do that?
When it inverts colors is the phone still operable? A factory reset resolves many mystery issues, I would try that first.
As far as the dead pixels if they go with Sony's LCD warranty....I believe they still do the exchange if you have...

- 3 white pixels, or
- 3 black pixels, or
- 7 faulty sub pixels

Not sure how to tell the difference between pixels and sub-pixels.. but it seems to me that there are at least 3 white pixels on my screen.
Regarding the wild flipping of colors on the screen, it's happened about twice now, so about once a week... However I have no idea what triggers the problem and I have yet to recreate it in a repeatable manner.

sorry I was quoting sony... our phone screen doesn't have sub pixels.
Not really sure how VZ would handle dead pixel claims. But if I where you I would take it to VZ and asked it be exchanged because you are having intermittent problems with the screen going out. Make sure you emphasize that it is causing big troubles for you.

Yeah, I may try that... I figure it may be kind of hard to convince a verizon representative since it's such an intermittent issue... but can't hurt to try.. Thanks for the quick replies!
