what is waking my phone? new bat stats works!
Ok,
So I bought a new seido 1750 last night because my other one died after draining it to zero (sat on charger for 3 hours, charge light never came on, any ideas?) Anyway, I did the whole bump charge thing and deleted the bat stats last night around 11pm. I took these images at 5pm tonight. My usage was about 45 mins of phone calls with bluetooth, a couple dozen text messages and
40 mins of browsing the app store. ( and of course checking my stats every hour). I am very satisfied with my life so far but it is quite peculiar that my on time is 17 hours and my awake time is 13 hours. Could the app panel that is recording the data keep it awake? I am not sure what else would and if so, why did i get such good battery life. Finally, i am stumped that it says i had 13 hours of awake time but when you look at numbers on pic 4, it doesnt even add up to an hour. Are these numbers screwed or am I missing something? Can you help me interpret this? Other things I have running are setcpu and the basics (google talk, imap account and gmail checks, etc). Help!! Here is the proof...

What app is that? Im jealous of how long your battery lasts. I have the same one and it can barely make it through 8 hours. Only about moderate use I would say

I think the program is called system panel. I believe I had to pay for it. If you can't find it, I will look for the exact name. I am currently at 32.5 hours with 27 hrs 20 mins uptime, the only thing thats changed since my first post is a bunch of screen shots (i'll post when i get home), 30 mins of ebook reading, checking my bat stats every hour, and another minor phone call. i just don't understand what the heck is telling me my phone is awake when I am obviously getting a good battery run. All I can think is system panel or setcpu? Any ideas.
I agree with your statement about crappy battery life. I had bought a 1750 Sedio on line from a crappy company for 40 bucks. Thought it was great cause it was cheap. Did a battery charge and bat stats delete and it was just ok but most of the time after that I couldnt barely make it through work. When that one failed to charge a few nights ago, I went to sprint and bought another 1750 Seido that was not oem from a cheap company. It was boxed, legit, warranty and everything. I coughed up 70 bucks for it. I don't know how that would make a difference but my battery life is incredible (pardon the pun) on this one. I did do the bump charge thing to get a first full run out of it to recalibrate the bat stats. I must say I am also using set cpu. I run 245-800 on full or charging, 245-600 below 50%, and 245-400 when screen is off. I also took someones advice and turned off the feature that said always keep data live, and it even comments that this could effect battery life on some networks. I didnt shut off sync data automatically in background so my imap account and weather still get updates even with that setting off. i am just amazed. i heard a few others in the forum saying that they got this kind of life and I thought it was a lie. But, whether it is my settings or the legit sprint battery, I don't know. I am just happy. Now if someone could give me some insight on the awake time. I wonder if my battery life would even be better if i could solve this problem. Sorry that I am complaining about a good battery run, kind of stupid i know, i just want to understand what's happening. Thanks for any other advice guys. i'll post more pics if there are non believers.
