Sense UI / Froyo Question?

In all likelihood this is a dumb question...

For some reason I was under the impression that Froyo would bring a new/better Sense Dock and pulldown color scheme (attached picture) ... but after upgrading I still have the old fashioned Sense look and feel.

Is the UI in the picture not Sense at all? If not, which alternative UI is it? I want it

I thought it might have been one of the bolt-on Sense alternatives... guess I gotta root

You can get a different home launcher and get the same thing if you don't want to root. ADW.Launcher (free), and Launcher pro(has a free version but limited) can give you that look without having to root and redo everything if thats all you want.

No problem. I wasn't trying to talk you out of rooting by the way lol. I think adw even has a feature you can save your settings once you get your screens set up so if you ever do anything different like rooting or having to do a reset will put all your screens icons and settings back as well.

That's pretty cool. No, I've just been avoiding root because of the imminent 2.2 upgrade (which I got last night), and because I don't really know what I'm doing...

Would you happen to know if the unrevoked "Recovery Reflash Tool" will work on the DI with Android 2.2? I know it supposedly worked on 2.1...
