When I got my OTA update, it failed to install, and I have no idea how to get it back. I am not going to manually install though. I have heard that they resend the ota update 24 hours after? Is that true? Im really desperate for some froyo here!

I had to press "install later" when I got the OTA this morning. After a reboot it came right back and asked if I wanted to update. I did, no perceived problems yet. Except I didn't root before the OTA so I guess I gotta wait til it gets rooted again. Hopefully faster this time.

You should be reminded every half hour, so I'll assume that you're now upgraded. Otherwise, settings -> About phone -> System updates will let you start the update anytime after you've been notified.
