Facebook contacts

How do I take my facebook contacts off my phone list??? I tried to change in settings to not sync but they are still on there???

you can hit menu and view and uncheck facebook contacts. Then hit done and you won't have them showing in your phonebook.

Where are you hitting that combination? Menu, View?
I see them also and do not want them to show up anywhere in my phone except Facebook.

It still shows facebook stuff for me even after this. It shows the facebook profiles associated with the contacts i had in the phone already.

Yes, it still does not effect the people I see when selecting the phone icon.

Ya, but i think he was just talking about his facebook contacts showing up on his contacts list "peoples". I have turned off the facebook contacts.

If i were to go inside one of my contacts that have a google account, which of course, is pretty much everyone. So lets say my brother. Well i can see all of his google contacts stuff, and then all of his facebook stuff. I have his correct number in google stuff but he still has his old number in facebook. Its annoying as hell, and there is no way that i know of to take his facebook number off. The only way is to unlink him, but then it won't sync with facebook

So ya, if there is a way to edit both Facebook and Google on a single contact on a same page, then i don't know about it. And as far as i know, i don't think it would be possible to edit lets say my brothers facebook stuff from my phones contacts. It sure would be nice though.

Ok for those wondering you have to actually unlink them individually. To do this click the contact and click the link looking thing in the top right corner and unlink from facebook.

There is a way to fix this! I actually just figured it out! Click "contacts" and then go to "groups" then scroll down if "facebook" is ticked then untick it and it should remove all your facebook contacts from your normal iphone contacts

So you dont have to do them all individually, it should just remove them all
