Verizon Nexus One or HTC Incredible?

Nexus One vs HTC Incredible.. What are your thoughts?

I think I will need to look at both before I make a decision, but other than the weight of the Droid, i'm pretty happy

I would sure like to know if cyanogen will be supported mod/hacks for this phone. Right now the existence of these optimized ROMs make the N1 more compelling. Otherwise the Incredible looks, well, incredible!!

I am leaning towards the Incredible based on specs. I love my Droid, but just don't use the physical keyboard. Droid may end up in wifes hands for this phone, but will have to check it out. My main concern is the rooting and rom options. I just hate to give that up on the Droid. It will be a tough decision overall since I have had my Droid since day 1 and love it.

It took the Droid a while b4 some really legit roms came out for it, so I think the Incredible will have just as many options after a while.

At this point its a no brainer... Only one phone is on Verizon atm.

I was sure the Nexus One would be available for Verizon but now I'm not so sure, they may just do the Incredible?

Well now that they're launching the Inc, they will obviously give it a head start. N1 in June probably, but unless the "surprise" is something completely awesome it won't be much of a launch.

i am going for the incredible for the following reasons:

price - i know it will be subsidized on a family plan
same/better specs
verizon will support it in store
i can get asurion without any issues
will root due to having asurion
i like the black red colors (not so much the back, oh well)

so to me the incredible is a better choice. however the n1 is by no means a worse phone. if money wasn't an issue and i didn't care about having to deal with a defective phone then i'd go n1 all the way. i do have a feeling once the incredible hits its community will grow just like the droids did, and before you know it we will have all the support just like the n1
