has any one removed their facebook account from their phone and then set it up again?

So I had the dumb idea to remove my Facebook account to my phone because pics wouldn't update. I then set it up agian and none of my friends are showing up in the people app. Idk what to do. Any ideas?

I did this, and had the same issue.

This is what worked for me: Manually press the sync contacts button for facebook until all of your contacts pictures show up again. Especially in my case where I had quite a few fb friends (no idea who half of them are anymore lolol) this took awhile...

I always found that the issue still remains with pictures not updating on all contacts, although it updates on a few now.

When I go into accounts and sync, Facebook, and touch sync contacts it just checks or unchecks the box. Even with it checked and touching sync now it doesn't help. Is this what you mean by manually syncing them?

I set up the Facebook for HTC sense not just facebook. That's what is supposed to be setup right?

hmm, keep the box checked, and push the manual refresh button repeatedly. Even if the time it takes to refresh is almost unnoticeable, it should be syncing your contacts images in alphabetical order... not sure why it is like this though XD

Just tried that. It still just says loading and nothing comes up in people. Hopefully I can figure it out by morning otherwise ill end up waiting around at the Verizon store for an hour and who knows if they can ever help. They'll probably just tell me to factory reset my phone. Thanks for the help.

Just got home from verizon store. They messed with it for a while. Nothing worked so we factory reset it. Still didnt work. I guess ill call htc as soon and someone with another phone comes around.

That is so wierd.. you'd think something like that would be a software issue with syncing. =(

Yea he told me it might have something to do with the facebook for htc sense and have nothing to do with the network. When i go in to people-online directories- facebook- menu- refresh, it just says loading for a minute and then connection error pops up. Im gonna loose sleep over this if it isn't fixed soon.
