HTC DROID Incredible to be updated to Froyo end of July, early August

It'd definitely be nice. I've already been running Froyo and it's a pretty big step up in terms of speed and of course flash capabilities amongst others.

Pretty cool, I don't mind waiting a little longer. Reposting the snippet from the supposedly leaked HTC email...

I wanted to pass along that the upcoming Incredible MR will also include Froyo (originally it was going to be two separate MRs).



We are targeting the end of the month/first part of August. As a reminder, below are the highlights:

• Froyo
• 802.11 n
• 3G Mobile Hot Spot
• HTC Widget: Email
• HTC Widget: News
• EAS Updates
• 720p Video Recording
• Amazon MP3
• Skype
• My Verizon

When they say "MR", what does that stand for? Mass Rollout? Also, what are the EAS updates? No fix for battery charging?

Does anyone know if big red will charge us incredible users a premium for using the mobile hot spot feature?

Of course they will. I believe it's $20/month but not sure about data cap.

I read somewhere that extra cost applied to droid x and droid, but I'm not too sure about that.

EAS is Exchange Active Sync

Not sure what MR means though.
