how could photos/videos taken before inserting SD card be moved to the SD card?

I started taking pictures before reading the manual (Ha!). All pictures went to the built-in memory.

On page 145 the manual says:
"Be sure to plug in your microSD card before you use your phone’s camera. Photos and videos
captured with the camera will be stored onto your microSD card."

I put an SD card, but all new pictures / movies continue to go to the built-in folders.

How can I make the SD card be the default destination?

Open your camera. Then on the left hand side slide it out. Go to the bottom with the gears and then scroll down. You will find "storage" click it and you can choose where they go.

Now, when you plug your phone into you computer it will recognize both hard drives. Your internal and SD card. You can move the photos around that you already took and delete if you like. Just make sure to mount the incredible once you plug it in to your computer. (drop down menu)

or if you have a file manager u can go into /emmc/DCIM/100MEDIA which is your internal memory, then cut and paste into /sdcard wherever you like

By file manager, do you mean a file manager app? If so, which app would you recommend?
