Blinking charging light

Anybody experience the blinking charging light when you charge your phone, when it is off? Before, the light would stay on constantly, not flash? Any ideas?

The phone is off, not just in standby? Blinking just amber, or alternating between amber and green?

i experienced this today for the first time while charging in the car. it was alternating between green and amber. weird.

Mine was just blinking Amber. And it dies this when the phone is completely off. When its on standby, the light stays continuously on.

I use an external battery charger 99% of the time so haven't noticed this the last time I plugged in. Will keep a look out though

Alternating between green and amber means that your Dinc is no longer taking power from the charger due to the battery getting overheated. I happens on mine when my battery reaches 119°F.

This has happened to me every time I've used my phone for navigation. I have to say I'm really disappointed - one of the reasons I got an Android phone is because of the great built-in navigation and now I'm feeling like I risk damaging my phone when I use it.

Try taking the battery I out and cleaning the contracts with a pencil eraser
