Yeah thank god my Droids port was strong lol.

I've actually had tons of experience with Li-ion in laptops (would think same would hold true for cell phones). In a corporate setting for our road warriors (about 30 users), the ones who choose to run the battery down to "battery low" warning and charging to full charge (repeat) have much better "off the chager" life than those who just keep the laptop plugged in until they need to use it mobile. I have seen the same model, same software, run 5-6 hours vs 1-2 hours simply because the user "used" the battery. Don't shoot me - ths may not hold true in the Li-ion phone battery world but you would think it would. I've always used the charge / drain / charge with my phones as well and seem to get pretty good life (but don't have the 30+ users to compare).

Since getting my phone yesterday I have already charged it twice. The battery only seems to last 5-6 hours.

I'm happy with mine. It's at least as good as what I had on my Droid running cyanogen at 1ghz. That means as long ad I throw it on the car charger on my way home from work I can make it through the day. On heavy use I may have to throw it on the charger at work for 20 mins or so. At least it charges very fast lol.

Well its new so you are also constantly playing with it which will not simulate a normal days use. Once you get used to the phone it should last a little longer.
