Droid Incredible vs. Moto Droid: True user feedback
Since the DI's should be in users hands in the next few days I figure I would start this thread for all of you who went from a Moto Droid to the DI and those who have both. Let's hear your real world comparison. What is better about the DI. Where does it fall short in comparison.
Good or bad. Post your thoughts.

The htc sense ui kicks some serious butt!

Once i get the Incredible and play with it for a few days i will post some of my thoughts in this thread for sure.
-
My first thoughts are I have to get used to the Power button being on the top left instead of the top right. It is lighter but feels great, not cheap at all imo. HTC Sense seems really nice. Moving from screen to screen, scrolling, typing seems a lot smoother than on the Droid. There's more widgets to play with, the ones I'm using are FriendStream, a skinny long favorites widget that lists my favorite contacts, and a Notes widgets I downloaded from HTC. I do miss the News app that was on the Droid but sure I can find an easy replacement. I just grabbed a universal mount for it and will be testing it out with the Incredible on the way home.

I gotta say that the Inc. is lighter, but in no way feels cheap or plasic-like. A solid, well built phone.

Hands down the Incredible with Sense UI wins. I love my Droid and you can see that in my 800 plus posts in Droid forums, but facts are facts. This phone rocks. It took the Droid and enhanced it. Smooth, fast, fully functional and beyond. And as mentioned it is lighter yet balanced. I absolutely hate seeing something like "it doesnt feel as robust as the Droid" or "It doesnt feel as solid as the Droid". Here's your sign... Damn...the Droid is beast of metal. What do people think? Fact is, it is plastic and therefore light, but balanced and does not feel cheap at all. I love it.

Got a Moto Droid 3 weeks ago, right before I heard Incredible release date. Turned in Droid for Incredible today, much happier. The response from the UI is so much faster than Droid. Droid often took an extra second to perform an action after I would swipe or touch something. Incredible is just faster. Camera takes great pics and video too.

I honestly couldn't be happier, after coming to the android os from blackberry, I don't know how I ever put up with my storm ('s). Everything you want or need in right here on the Incredible.

I will have my Incredible from FedEx on Monday. Verizon was nice enough to switch out my Droid after getting it 45 days ago even though I was out beyond their normal 30 day policy. Had a ton of issues with the Moto. Maybe it was a lemon, I don't know, but certainly looking forward to getting the new phone. Will report back after I get it.
