HELP needed with a droid inc

hi im stuck in hboot mode an cant enter recovery it just goes to the white htc screen an keeps looping until i do a battery pull i have tried a # of things nothing seems to work im also new to this android stuff so can someone please give me a detailed way to solve this i live in the Caribbean so stuff like the over the air updates i cant get.Spent hrs trying to solve it

Things i tried rooting
bootloader unlock
sd card flashing
ruu

Try taking the battery off and rub both its contacts and the part where it connects to the phone with a pencil eraser.
Sometimes corrosion on the contacts can cause boot loops.

as strange as it sounded i tried it still the same out come i think its a software thing must have been something i did as far as internet games an music which is what my son uses it for an now he is pissed at me for messing it up

I think sarcasm doesn't go over well on this forum. It has been 2 1/2 years since the INC came out.
Many of the participants on this forum have moved on. Besides, a lot of the problems - particularly the
boot looping - have never been solved. The latest software update seems to generate a whole slew of
new problems.
Personally, I never rooted, being (1) inexperienced and (1) totally dependent on my phone. I got my phone
when it first came out and have had no problems in two and half years. I learned a lot from the great people who
devoted their time on this forum.

thx u jersery devil well worded cause dickgtag an many others dont understand that even though its old its still selling an u would think at this point that the real tec heads would know this inside out cause of its age an im still trying to understand when was i sarcastic really when
