For those that got the OTA, try doing factory reset on your phone and see if that will resolve your issues.
I had the message this morning. I selected to update and got the "not enough memory" error. I cleared all the data and cache in the apps that hoard and the update went away.
The Gingerbread update was a nightmare, and my phone does the reboot thing when I leave the internet, too. I refuse to go through all that crap that I went through just to get that one to install, so I'm going to refuse the update the next time it appears.
From what I've read it doesn't fix the white screen/loading boot problem, just adds some email options and one other thing that isn't something I'm even interested in.
I just wish HTC would find a fix for those of us that use the stock system and help us with the white screen/loading issue.
mine updated just fine, but few minutes later it shut off, when I arrived to put on again I can not get the wifi on, saying error.
I wanted to address the low memory error you get when trying to update. It happened to me this morning. The place to look for your available memory is under Settings>SD & Phone Storage you have to look at APPLICATION DATA STORAGE. This is what you need available to run the update. I get the low memory error every so often and always get rid of it by deleting emails from sent/deleted folders, txt messages with pictures take up a lot of space and Dolphin HTML5 data and also clear out your FaceBook data. When I do that I always end up with about 40MB avaialble (before doing it was 17MB). This is also what I needed to do in the past with the Gingerbread update.
I do have a question, does anyone know how to force the Incredible to check for the update again, or do I just have to wait for the message to pop up again one morning?
Mine updated just fine. Camera flash is working correctly again but that's the only difference I've seen so far

i just read on another forum that says set you date a month a ahead of your current date. then check your system update status. it should be available.
I'm still having a reboot issue. Every few minutes the phone reboots when it's plugged into a charger. Otherwise it's fine. It really makes it annoying though since at night when i'm trying to sleep. I keep hearing "droid........................droid............... .........droid..........................droid..... ......................droid........." etc etc.
Any ideas as to why this is or how to fix it? I tried clearing caches and stuff. No luck with the reboot issue, however it did fix an issue with Yahoo mail's app not wanting to send e-mail after the update.
