please help with my incredible

hello guys bought incredible off Ebay planning to fix it. They said it was stuck in power loop so i figured it'd be easy fix. I had a incredible for a year or so and rooted and everything so not a complete newbie. Only thing this one will do is boot into h-boot, if you try to boot normally it goes to incredible screen and boot loops and then powers off. Any help would be appreciated

Is it rooted? If it is can you get it to go into recovery? If you can I'd suggest flashing a rom or if you want stock, there are a variety of RUU's you could use. Let me know what you can and I'll try to help from there.

no root and no recovery. i have tried roms and ruu's the pb31img way and it finds them and sometimes makes it to the part where i hit volume up to flash and it powers down after that, but most of the time while its loading to the right when it gets done it just goes away and stays in h-boot

This is probably a stupid question but have you tried flashing it while the phone is plugged in?

Have you cleaned the contacts between the battery and the phone?

Alright, have you used ADB at all? I'm wondering if you could maybe push an update to the phone that way.
