Droid Incredible Custom Boot Animation Help

ok guys, im am running the Liberated v3.0 ROM that i flashed from here and it has exceeded my expectations.

the only thing is that when i follow the tutorials on you tube on how to Run a Custom Boot Animation, i do all the steps and when i reboot the phone, it is just the same stock Boot Animation.

Is there some thing wrong here like the firmware on the ROM not good enough or somthing.

please help

I've got no idea what instructions you are following, so I can't answer what isn't working right. But I've installed several custom animations on several different ROMS...

Most likely you are not installing the custom bootanimtion.zip (or whatever its correct name might be) to the right location OR are not using the correct name. The name of the custom animation must be changed to exactly the same name as the stock one. It must also be installed to the exact same location (will vary from ROM to ROM) overwriting the stock one.


Where is the location of the stock boot animation? What is the name of the stock boot animation (exactly)? How are you trying to install it...with ADB... with ROM toolbox... something else?

Answer me those three questions and I might be able to help. I'm sure your difficulties have nothing to do with the ROM being "not good enough".
