Backing Up Apps
Okay so I've gone through two factory resets for various reasons and had to manually install all apps from the market each time. Luckily Amazon has them saved. Does the Android Market do the same and I just don't know where it is? It's linked to my google account, so if I have to look on google, where would that be? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Well if you have or can get root access, you can use Titanium Backup to backup apps and their data. I believe Astro can do it as well. Not sure if you need root for Astro or not.

To answer your question, sadly no the market doesn't save or file your apps like Amazon does. Although there are several options open to you for next time. Many people I've talked to or seen post in the forums use MyBackUp Pro. The free version is just a trial so get the full unlimited use you have to pay. It's what I use and I don't know if it is the market or the app, but when you first recover your apps don't show up in you my apps list on the market at first. After a day or so they seem to show up again and then start doing the auto updates, as they come out of course. Anyway, with that being said there are a ton of backup choices out there. Recently Astro file manager updated and now allows you to back up apps. I haven't used it, even though I have Astro installed, only because I had already purchased MBUP, so I don't much about it or how well it works. Astro File Manager is free and if you look at or move files around on your sd then you could probably use a nice file manager anyway, so why not get one that gives you a little more.
Maybe in the next market update instead of giving us movies and books that we, I mean "I", don't want they will incorporate account recognition, and save your app list. I'm just saying. It'd be nice. I'm just saying. Although I should mention and you probably already noticed that they do for apps you purchased.
