Multitouch Keyboard on HTC Incredible...
I just installed the multitouch keyboard featured on the Moto Droid X, and I don't really get why this is supposed to be better than the stock HTC sense keyboard...
Anyone else try the multitouch keyboard?
What are the pros of having the multitouch as opposed to the keyboard that comes stock on the droid and incredible?
thanks
incase anyone actually wanted to try it out for themselves...

Well with multitouch you can hold shift and press a key and it'll work just as a normal computer would. There is times i miss a letter due to the lack of multi touch. I'd hit two keys at the same time, and only one works. Give it a shot

Trying it on mine, too. Thanks for the link. Very helpful.

let me know what you think of it, because im not sure if i like it. doesnt seem liek the auto-correct works as well as the stock keyboard. the multitouch keyboard will accept words that are clearly spelled incorrectly and not in my user dictionary =\

-Right away I can tell that the keyboard (in horizon mode) is bigger...which is great
-Also, while using Handcent, I noticed that I can now press the "Send" button instead of going out of the message and pressing send.
Then again, I consider myself a noob so this may not be such a big deal to you guys.
Thanks for the link though!

Doesn't hitting the Enter send your message from within Handcent? I didn't like this at first but it's great not having to select send all the time...

No, it drops you down to the next line which blows. One thing that sucks is that you lose the smilies that are configured in with the HTC Sense keyboard. Small issue...

I've been using Smart Keyboard from the day I got my phone so I've had multi touch the entire time.

I knew there was something else that was different. I have mine set on vibrate, but it's not doing it.
