slide to lock before pattern lock

is there a way to disable the slide lock so that when i press the botton on the top of my phone to turn the screen on, im automatically at the pattern lock screen?

its kind of annoying to have to slide to unlock, then unlock using the pattern again.

oh; i also downloaded the app called NoLock, but that disabled my pattern lock as well.

Yeah I really get annoyed at the slide unlock before I draw my pattern. I exhausted all of the system options and I can't seem to find anything to relieve it.

on the droid there was this app called mylock i think that bypasses that. not sure if it works for the sense ui though.

ya i actually downloaded that for the incredible but that bypasses the pattern lock as well as the 'slide to lock' feature.

I agree...for how 'open' this phone is, I just don't understand why you cannot remove the slide to unlock. Hopefully there will be a fix on 2.2

They should allow you to turn off the Slide to Lock IF you set a pattern lock. That would be a good option.
