My PC sees the files on my card but my phone doesn't.

I am practically pulling my hair out here. I transfer mp3's from my pc to my phones memory. I have done both the sd card and internal memory. The file show up when I plug my phone into my pc and look in the directories but when I try to find or play them on my phone...no go. What's the problem here?

It's hard to say for sure without some information. Are you using the stock player? If I remember right the stock player would only see files on one or the other, I want to say on the SD. I had a similar issue when I first got my Inc. Anyway, why is it not seeing them from your SD could be a couple of things; 1) they are not in the correct format, if you're just pulling and dropping files it could be as simple as your phone can't read them. Are you using a Mac or iTunes? 2) You may be burying them too deep. This hasn't happened to me but it could be that you are putting them in too many folders i.e. media, music, artist, album, who knows.
Are you seeing any songs at all?
Try this:
Create a folder for music on the first layer of the SD to add music.
Use media player or similar, and actually sync the music to your phone.
Try a 3rd party app. 3 (cubed) is a nice app.
