Audio editing question

I recently made a long recording (~45 minutes long) using the voice recorder app. I'd like to edit out the first and last 8-10 minutes. How would I go about doing that?

Hmm... 27 views but no replies. Maybe there isn't an app for that. Does anyone know of any free software I could use to do the edit if I move the file to my mac?

Audacity is a good program for computer audio editing.

If your recording is in mp3 format then the ring droid app might do what you need

your best bet is to take the original file from your card or device and import it into an after market audio editing software...not a pro-tools or Logic which are High end Audio and Video editing software, that Recording studios Use... but a low end like cakewalk or perhaps fruity loops they all have free versions that way you can see a wave form and just click and cut ya know .. then save as and reimport to your phone via SD card...as an audio Guy thats my advice...but it may be a bit Far Fetched for a solution
