Problems organizing downloaded songs
Requesting assistance in organizing, deleting duplicate songs, creating and managing playlists.
I know how to view, edit, delete songs when my DI is connected to my PC, and I view the songs I have downloaded in my Music folder using Win Explorer. My problem is when I get back to my DI and activate my Music app to start playing songs either using my ear buds or BlueTooth, I noticed that the total number of songs in the list in my DI is/can be substantially higher than the list that is in my main Music folder located in my MicroSD card as I stated above. I can only conclude (and actually see in the list) that there are duplicates in my DI Music. Puzzled
?? Since the song's list in my DI Music folder is listed randomly (not in any particular order), my questions are:
1. Is there a way to sort the songs in some kind of order (alphabetically by Artist, Album, or ??.) so that I can see where the duplicates are?
2. If there is a way to do this, how do I delete the dupes in my DI?
3. I have also created one Playlist from the main Library. But the number of songs sometimes appear more than what is stored in the main Library? Did I add duplicate songs in the Play list in error? Should I even create a Playlist if I just wanted to shuffle-play the songs in the main Library? I realize that if I wanted a Playlist of only selected artists or bands, creating a dedicated Play list is a solution.
BTW, I do not see any dupes in the list when I view them using Win Explorer in my PC. I also cannot seem to sort the list using my PC.
Assistance especially to Q1 and 2 will be greatly appreciated.
