When some of y'all play music through your Inc. How is the sound quality. Like most of y'all I heavily use an iPod or iTouch. On those players you can change your music EQ. i.e. Jazz, Rock, etc. Can you do this with the Inc?

My mind is the weapon. Everything else is merely an accessory.
I am a formidable weapon in the war against silence by using brutal, attack-oriented sonic death.
the Inc's music player does not have an EQ. neither do any music streaming apps such as pandora, slacker, rhapsody, or any others. this is one area that android and the OEM's fall short. it's not a problem for most people though. i don't hear an awful lot of complaints about it, but it wouldn't hurt for google to add one to the OS.
there is one music player on the market that has an EQ. i haven't used it though since this is not an issue for me.
other than the lack of EQ the sound quality is great. i am pretty obsessed with audio and it suits my needs just fine. the audio curve is relatively flat.
here is a plot i did of the frequency response through the headphone jack:
don't worry about how jagged it looks. the correct way to measure frequency response is to take several measurements and then average them together. this is just one quick measurement.

Astro Player Beta has a 14 band equalizer. I haven't found a need for the eq but playing with it, I did hear a good sound difference. Give that a run.
Couldn't get Astro player to work on the Incred. Hoping there's something better out there soon.
I think the sound quality (through headphones, of course) is great. I use the Bose headphones which are super. However, I'm a musician and I bring MP3s to rehearsal on my HTC and run a cable (1/8" stereo from the headphone jack) to RC cables that I plug into my keyboard mixer and from there, I can EQ all I need although it really doesn't need much.
