There is one in the app store called real signal. not sure it will display Dbm but the thresholds for each bar are customizable.

just downloaded real signal. works pretty well. sux that we have two signal bars though. i'm also concerned if this eats up battery. i'll leave it on the whole day and see if it does. thx for the info.

I think it may be just me but when I programed the phone for GSM and CDMA I would get 2 bars and Full bars whenever I do a manual update or download kinda random. Now I get the normal no bar to one bar because my phone had to be factory reset so I'm going to program it again and see if its back to 2 bars.

Mine has the worst signal compared to the moto droid. My husbands picks up miles before my dinc.

Please do not use the signal bars as a register for your actual phone signal. You can manually check the dB for the real signal. If you watch the bars, they typically jump up to the real strength when you place a call or tap into data. The display reading like it does is apparently by design to help save power on the phone, at least according to HTC.

I would believe that if I didnt put them side by side and look at the dbm on both of them.

Mine has been pretty much the same as my moto droid. My office is a low signal area and everything is on par.
